Final report: 2004 Halloween Masquerade Ball

Thanks again for your support! This was a huge success for independent music, art and Habitat for Humanity.

As we talked prior to the event: The overriding goal was to determine if we could create a series of events that generated a regular flow of money for worthwhile charities while paying the venue and artists a fair wage for their hard work. This was the beta test and the resounding answer is: Yes!

Key successes:
-Over 100 folks paid to attend the event
-The event was profitable for both the gallery (venue) and the artists
-We raised nearly $300 for Habitat for Humanity-Detroit
